» Bare-back sex Smutty Stuff

Recently there’s been a large increase in the promotion of ‘Bare Back’ sex vids.

Having lost friends through infection by HIV /AIDS I view unprotected penetrative sex (gay or het) as being inherently dangerous. If you do it then you are taking a huge risk that your partner is not carrying the infection.

For this reason I do not wish to promote ‘bare-backing’ on Smutty Stuff AND I am unhappy about linking to blogs which do so. So please, if you have a blog, either don’t promote bareback sex OR, at least, put a safe sex message with each video.

You’re not Bare-backing, are you?

Is it just me, or is there currently a big increase in the number of videos on the net advertising themselves as Bareback?

And am I alone in wanting people not to promote sex without condoms as some sort of special, thrilling thing - not given the number of my friends who died because of HIV/AIDS.

I mean - they had some sort of excuse for dying - nobody had warned them about using condoms.

But what sort of message is it sending to young people in particular? Surely we all want them to go on living? Surely we don’t want them to be dependent on a drug cocktail during the remainder of what may well prove to be a shortened life? Surely we’re not blind to the suffering that’s a part of people’s lives in Africa and right across the world?

It’s one thing if there’s a pic or an old vid where there’s no condoms - that’s bad enough - but to glorify ‘bare-backing’ really gets my goat.
